Hi, I'm Brit! Owner of Nutty Momma's.
I am 3rd generation Benician, and have a deep pride for my Bay Area community and home town. My deep, deep love with mixed nut butter began in 2016, when a diet change had me on the hunt for nutrient dense protein sources - and plain old peanut butter just wasn't cutting it. I started buying jarred nut butters from grocery stores and mixing them with different seeds at home, then re-jarring them - phew! That was a lot of work. From there I started to research nut butters, roasting methods, and nut nutrients to find the perfect combos. A few hundred taste tests later - I'd become a Nutty Momma. Eureka - she was born!
Through the nut butter research, I discovered most large nut butter companies are so big, they outsource aspects of their production - which leads to lack of quality control. They simply aren't around to make sure their butters are being made right, but we are. Our small batch butters can give your stomach and mind some ease. Each batch is made in house, just three jars at a time. This slow and careful process really allows us to be completely involved in every nut, roast, grind, salt, and pour that takes place at Nutty Momma's - that's important to us!
